Our Mission

We use the latest advances in water and environmental science powered by modern technology to protect Poland’s water resources. We turn data into action to restore ecosystems and safeguarding public health.

Water Science Foundation was founded by Karolina Krupska, a water quality and hydrology specialist with 13+ years’ experience in the UK environmental and water sector. We help communities and organisations protect the waters they care about by turning data and science into practical action. We support better decision-making on pollution risk by developing practical models that translate complex data into clear environmental actions.

Understanding the impact of climate change on inland flood risk in the UK

The article explains how climate change is intensifying rainfall in the UK and, together with catchment and land-use factors, is expected to increase inland flood risk—while highlighting the uncertainties in predicting these impacts at local catchment scale.
